What is a virtual assistant?

A Virtual Assistant (VA) can be any type of remote assistant who provides administrative, creative, or technical support services for online or brick-and-mortar business owners.

Is being a Virtual Assistant a viable option for income?

ABSOLUTELY!! What is so great about becoming a Virtual Assistant is that you can make it exactly what you want it to be. You can work part-time. You can work full time. It is all up to you! There are so many opportunities out there waiting to be found. Plus, with the shift the workforce is making to the online space, even more opportunities are opening up!

Do I have to take a course to become a Virtual Assistant?

You do not. You can totally launch, grow, and scale your business without a course or a certification. What is so great about our course The SavvySystem, is that it literally takes the guessing out of all the steps. We walk you through step by step about to get starting and make money!

What sets your course apart from the others offered?

Here at The Virtual Savvy, we believe that there is something for everyone. If you decide the SavvySystem isn't for you - that's ok! Are there any discounts available?

What do I need to get started as a Virtual Assistant?

There are three steps we recommend to start learning more about what a Virtual Assistant is and whether you are ready to start your own VA business:

As for tools and skills, you simply need a working computer, decently fast internet, and, as Abbey calls it - figure-it-out-edness! The rest can be obtained/learned.

How do I find clients once I get started?

The largest section in the SavvySystem focuses on marketing. Abbey presents students with multiple avenues to find clients. She literally walks you through exact methods or marketing and networking through various platforms!

Is there Closed Captioning for your products?

SS: Every lesson in the SavvySystem has closed captioning.

SV: Unfortunately, the SavvyVault does not have closed captioning.

What is your return policy?

SS: You can get a refund/cancellation for your SavvySystem purchase within your first 30 days.

SV: The SavvyVault is eligible for cancellation at any time, however, you can only receive a refund within the first 7 days.

What is the difference between the SavvySystem and the SavvyVault?
The SavvySystem is an online course that takes you step by step in launching, growing, and eventually scaling your own virtual assistance business from scratch.
 
SavvyVault is a membership that includes over 50 tutorials on tech tools and systems that you may use as a virtual assistant in your own business or your clients. You get access to all the tutorials at the time of purchase.
 
These two products have two separate goals, but they can work hand in hand with each other.
Do you offer any mentorships/coaching inside your courses?

Inside of the SavvySystem, you get support through our amazing community and the live events that take place. We do not offer 1:1 coaching or mentoring at this time.

What additional costs are involved in becoming a Virtual Assistant?

You can literally start a VA business with $0! There are so many ways you can just get started. As you continue to grow your business, you will find platforms and systems to invest in that will help you streamline your processes. To get started all your need is a computer and good internet!

What is the SavvySystem?

The SavvySystem is an online course that takes you step by step in launching, growing, and eventually scaling your own virtual assistance business from scratch.

How long does it take to complete the course?

SS: The course was designed to take a year to complete. However, it fully depends on how much time you are able to put into it. The content is provided all at once. We have had some students complete the course in a matter of weeks.

SV: There are courses you can complete in a couple hours and some that could take a couple of weeks, depending how much time you have available.

What is inlcuded in the SavvySystem?
The SavvySystem has over 70 lessons inside of 14 modules that cover how to LAUNCH, GROW, and SCALE your virtual assistant (VA) business. You will receive:
  • Our customizable VA contract created just for VAs by our own attorney, along with email support for questions about the contract

I am from outside the US. Is the SavvySystem for me?
One of the best things about starting a VA business is that you can do it from anywhere in the world! The SavvySystem can totally be for YOU.
 
We are US based. We highly recommend that you educate yourself on your country's regulations and tax requirements when starting a business.
 
The contracts that we have inside the SavvySystem are US based. We recommend that you have them reviewed by a local representative available to you to make any specific changes that you need to meet your country's requirements.
What support is available once I join the SavvySystem?
You have an amazing community that you can be a part of. You will NOT go through this journey alone.

What is the SavvyVault?

There are so many skills to learn as a new VA, and sometimes the new tech entering into the scene daily can seem overwhelming. 

On top of that, there are VAs that know specific industry skills. What if I want to be a Virtual Assistant for Social Media Management or a Subscription Box company? Does that look different than being a VA for a Blogger? 

That's what we're going to cover in SavvyVault. 

It's a collection of trainings made by experienced VAs to teach you the industry and tech skills you need to succeed. 

What is included with my SavvyVault membership?

You get access to all the SavvyVault trainings (50+) as well as access to our amazing SavvyVault community and monthly events.

How frequently do you release new courses?

We release at least 1 new course every month!

Can I get 1:1 Support?

While we don't offer 1:1 support, we do have a Facebook group where we are active every day as well as an amazingly supportive community who love to dive in and support other VA's!

What are Tech-it-outs or Open Office Hours?

Tech-It-Outs are a special feature for all SavvyVault members who need some live, hands-on tech support. While not all problems can be "fixed" in a Tech-It-Out, you will always walk away with a bit of clarity around what steps you need to take next. We meet via Zoom which allows us to share screens as we walk through your tech/system troubles.

Are there any LIVE Trainings?

Yes! We go live inside of the community multiple times a month with industry & tech experts as well as a monthly Open Office Hours where we help you troubleshoot your tech/system challenges on the spot!

Are the trainings basic or in-depth?
Each training is different. Some of our trainings are 101-level trainings with enough information for you to understand the platform and how it works, while other trainings go super in-depth with advanced techniques & strategy.

We perform audits on our courses regularly to make sure they are still up to date with the current setup of the platforms.
